opinions on calais chrome window strips on ss?

Hi,just wanted opinions on whether the vr/vs calais chrome window strips that go around the top of the doors,down the a and c pillars and under the windows would suit my ss?
the strips circled in red

on to my ss

It would look good a mate has one the same collie and has then and the vt/x chrome ss badges looks the go

replace the red door moulds with some chrome would look alot better to

The red door molds/bumper strips are a fairly recognisable trademark of the 'SS' IMO leave them as is.

But, to answer the original question, yeah, why not? Chrome looks sweet on all models, not sure why Holden didn't fit them from the factory.

Have you got a pic of your 'SS' closer to the same angle as the one in the pic, with chrome strips?

If so, see if one of the boys can photoshop it onto your ride, then you can see if you'll like it.

yeah get em, i've got them on my white vs and it looks good imo, nice exhaust btw was it much of a headache to get the pipes on the drivers side under there?

Not sure to be honest, the SS has it's own look. Definitely dont take the red off (IMO). Maybe give the chrome surrounds a good see how she looks

Nah - Wouldn't suit the red and blue contrast of the SS.

The only one I've ever seen it look good on is Beefy's black VS SS - but he's removed his red strips and tinted the crap out of anything on the car that wasn't already black. haha Looks intense!

thanks for that man,you did well,im sort of swaying towards no with the strips,they seem a bit out of place as there is no other chrome like that on the car
