Default Nolathaine v super pro v rubber bushes also do vt IRS springs vt a IRS vr

Hey guys I'm goin to rebuild my suspension in my vr.. It's got IRS if it helps I'm goin to replace everything basically every rubber the struts, shocks, the bearing tops wheel hubs..I'm going lowered springs in the front sale in the rear shocks to match. Now what I'd like to know is what sort of rubbers/ bushes do use recommend? Also do vt IRS springs fit a vr.

vt springs will fit a vr but it may sit slightly higher as the vt was a heavier car

I just replaced almost everything in my VR with SuperPro stuff, and it seems pretty decent. Its all deep blue, and made of urathane, pretty similar to the Nolathane gear. Comes with the grease and in kits depending on the parts, because they are owned by Fulcrum who do heaps of suspension stuff, so that might be an advantage over Nolathane, and i think SuperPro was maybe a little cheaper too. I wouldn't go the rubber ones, though I'm guessing they'd be alot cheaper. Got mine from Bursons. Not sure about the springs, mines live axle.

Id go with the nolothane type bushes instead of rubber.Ive fitted them all round to my VS.Some people complain that they give too harsh of a ride, but Ive never found that.It just firms it up nicely.Maybe if you fitted them along with heaps low springs it might be a bit harsh, but if your gonna keep it at a practical height, like the FE2 spring height, then definitely go nolothane.Rubber bushes make these cars feel like your driving around in a bucket of jelly. To doughy and soft. You should find the steering a lot better and more direct with nolothane.I found its the same under heavy braking and cornering.A much better feel.I guess it comes down to your driving style too.I dont drive slowly.

if you buy the pedders branded rubber they are good they are a heavy duty rubber, if your going polyurethane fit what flak fitted to his car the superpro, imo they are the best of the bunch.

The Pedders bushes are nolathane bushes. The super pro bushes are a lot better that the nolathane ones, I have a info sheet in my room on super pro bushes and it explains why they are better. Basically they aren't as stiff as nolathane bushes but still provide the same result and last longer, hence why they are more expensive.

If superpro brand are the blue coloured ones,I had them fitted ages ago to the rear control arms and they flogged out pretty quick.Ive found the nolothane brand are heaps better, theyve lasted 2 years so far.The blue ones lasted about 6-12 months and were a lot cheaper. The blue ones squeaked a lot too.Ive had no squeaks with nolothane.
