Default Commodore VR Exhaust Issues :(

I just had the back muffler replaced and I just wanted a stock so I got my "grandad" to buy it and by the looks of it, it just seems like it's not on properly and crooked? It's also not as high up as all the other 1993-1997 commodores I've seen around so did i get the wrong back-piece? It was brand new From Discount auto-parts and I don't know if this is a common mistake or a new type of muffler but please help here is some pictures!

Are the back rubber all hooked up properly because your exhaust will sit like that

As mentioned, the hanger can be manipulated to get it sitting how you want.
