which hoses do you mean - the ones from the reservoir to the pump or the ones from the pump to the rack?

The rubber hoses are simple just undo the clamps and replace with new hoses and new clamps if needed and do up well.
The high pressure metal hoses can be real buggers, you WILL need the correct size pipe spanners to get them off, then replace them along with new O rings. Dont worry about air in the system, once you refill the reserviour it bleeds itself by the bubbles rising to the top.

If you are talking about the low pressure hoses from the resovoir ensure that the resovoir itself hasn't been cracked. I replaced mine to find it was the actual plastic where it sits against the body rather than the hoses which I first thought.

When you change them, first use a syringe or something to remove the oil from the reservoir to reduce the amount of fluid spilt. Use care when undoing the hose clamps as the plastic reservoir gets brittle with age....same goes for when you do the hose clamps up after replacing - do not overtighten. Then fill with new Dexron111. New hoses are under $20 each from Holden but expect only a few years life from them as one goes rock hard and the other soft like jelly.

If you are going to replace the cooler hoses they usually need 2 clamps either end for better sealing

Easier solution to removing old hose. Take the clamp fully off. Slice along the hose the length of the spout and remove it that way. Way to easy to snap the spout of and a replacement is in the vicinity of $160 new from Holden.
