VR starting problem

i have a 94 VR V6 manual commodore and im having problems with it on start up
it has no problem turning over but it just wont fire, generally when hot
if anybody has had this problem and fixed it or knows what the problem is i need help
the car has new spark plugs and leads, the fuel pump buzzes when ignition is switched on, so any help would be greatly apprectiated,

crank angle sensor, it lives on the right hand side next to the harmonic balancer, poor some cool water over it when it wont start then try again, sometimes it will help it work again to get you going.

thanx mate ill give it a try next time it happens, forgot to mention it only happens occaisonally
