    Default VR front end conversion

Hey guys new to the forum

I'm wanting to change the VR headlights on my wagon to vx or vy is this possible and has anyone done this? just wanting to give the old girl a bit of a fresher look.
I've searched all over the net to find the answer but nothing has come up about it.

If anyone has any info on this or photos anything like that, it would be a huge help.

    cheers

Very difficult, the front end is a different shape, radiator support is different. Be cheaper and easy to by a VT.

Not my cup of tea - but I can appreciate the effort gone into it to pull it off.

Lots of work, lots of money. Could of bought VZ for what that would cost.

    Looks good though.

it's a big job -it's not just a matter of bolting stuff off/on

do some research and reading into the CJ jet car to get an idea of the amount of work & money involved.

you'd need to fabricate custom bonnet/guards/bumpers/etc and alter the front frame of your car to allow the panels to bolt on.

Not to discourage you - but for it to look any good you would want to be pretty experienced with sheet metal fabrication, body work etc. And I'm presuming that if you had the level of experience and knowledge required - you wouldn't be asking the questions that you are.

Having said that - if you're dedicated and don't mind spending the money and learning - I'm not going to tell you that it "can't" be done

nope, you can bolt in VS seats straight in F & R and vt-vz? rear seats but the fronts need rail mods im pretty sure but yes they do fit.
I am told the rail mods are easy as? just un-bolt the old rails and bolt on the vt-vz rails???

The VR is a narrower car so the front end would be nasty.
That blue one above looks VERY nice, bit like a VN group A i reckon.
