VR 5SPD conversion parts > costs for parts

As it says, i want to do a 5spd conversion on my VR...wats envovled in doing it?
(i.e Wat parts will i need, how much is each part 2nd hand ect)

I have the manual computer and modified manual loom (plugs into auto loom) off Ebay. I have found a manual t5 box for $280 (is that good? 2nd hand, ment to be good but has been sitting around in unknown place )

if its second hand grab it and get it reconditioned, also you will need a manual pedal box and possibly a clutch cable. New shifter and possibly a new shifter surround piece.

All very detailed replies for you there mate but the easiest way is to look at one already for sale, there is one for Series 2 VN / VP / VR in the parts sale section. Saves you running around, all parts you need and can be sent interstate too.
