My car stalls very often in LPG.
When driving slow/straight/turning corner, basically anything low revs it will drop below 1000 and stall.
It's quite dangerous and annoying.
It runs perfect in petrol but in LPG it doesn't.
Any idea what this could be?
hey mate,
not to sure what the problem is but my dads car does the same thing. i find when i first start the car on gas, let it idle for a few seconds then give it a rev to about 3-4 Gs (depending on the car) and you should hear a click. once it has clicked it wont stall.
it works for me so its worth a try.

My dad's ford ba wagon on gas did this, only when it was cold or when it was warming up.
I hope you find the problem mate.
Yeah it seemed to drive and idle alright today. I think after running a tank of petrol it needs to readjust to gas which takes some time.
Thanks for the replies guys.
dirty lpg can do it to
old fuel or old lpg
plugs next likely cuase (will run better on petrol if old plugs/worn out)
check valve on tank is fully open/undone
then lpg system may have leak or pinched hose or restriction whatever you at this point should see a specialist in lpg if fault opnly happens with lpg
lpg guys dont charge that much for a diagnosis![]()
