hey guys,
just wondering if anyone knows what the psi is of a standard vs v6 fuel pump? i had to buy an after market one, and hav a feeling the guy at the local spares shop sold me one that doesnt run enough presure.
cheers
The VS V6 fuel pressure should be approximately 280 kpa (40 psi) with the engine idling, and 320-350 kpa (46-50 psi) at idle with the fuel pressure regulator vacuum hose disconnected.
thanks mate! so if i buy a new pump, it should be able to run 40-50psi?
yep, it should.
u wouldnt happen to hav any suggestions on a decent out of tank pump would u? lol
Im not too sure mate,I know holley make out of tank fuel pumps, but someone else on here should have a better idea about them than me.Maybe google or ebay can help you there.
