    Default VX too VS connecting rods

    hey guys just wondering if i pull out a connecting rod out of a VX will it fit into my VS seeing as one of mine is buggered.

    Yes they're interchangable as physically, all dimensions are the same between them. I would recommend weighing the rods though on an accurate scale just to make sure they're the same weight (they should be) to make sure you keep it all in balance. Don't mix your big end bearings though.

    Cheer for the reply seeing as the con rods fit does that mean the crankshaft would be a straight swap and fit aswell?

    Why not just change the whole bottom end?

    i might be i know one of the con rods is stuffed cause it spun a brand new big end in under 15 minutes of running time. So im either buying a new con rod or pulling one out of a spare VX motor i have also i have too machine my crank so might aswsell just use the VS bottom end.

    Yes, all v6 cranks from vs to vy l36 (ecotec) and l67 (supercharged) are the same with no differences at all. You'll probably only have to go 0.020" under for the crank grind and linish
