1.... In what way are you asking? Offset? Strut clearance? Guard clearance? Of bolt up?

I was sure I read on here some where that because this rims are so big you will have trouble with the strut.

You also need to fit them right with correct wheel nuts and machine the center of the rim.

Replica rims do break easy, especially if you go over many bumps or gutters, it is just not worth it in my opinion, save up the extra 2k and buy geuine, you will never look bak..

and i rekon they will look sweet as on a vr statesmen

how easy is easy? would they last a while or not very long? coz when i drive to and from work i go over a few speed humps, and sometimes the road can get a bit bumpy, not badly but enough to make the car bounce a bit, i wanna get replicas (preferably in good condition) to save money, coz i dont really have 2k to spend on new rims

Most replicas are made from cheaper steal and aren't as thick, my rims cop a regular flogging on the streets of Victoria and I still haven't bent / cracked one yet!
But in saying that you might have a good run and the knock offs will last 10 year.

would anyone know where to get the replicas from? (apart from ebay and stuff) and/or roughly how much it would cost brand new replicas?

don't you need to get the hub machined by a few mm for pre ve cars?
    different stud pattern or something?

Maybe ask the wheel deal on here, they have replica GTS rims so they should know what needs modification but I think when I asked about it they said they don't.

ve is the same stud patturn as vr-vs...

differance is ve use a 14mm stud i think and vr-vs have 12... something like that... so you need to use special wheel nuts that have vr-vs inside 12mm stud and outside diamiter of 14mm to fitt up tight with the ve rims. (my figures might be out alittle, could be 14 and 16mm can't remember)

anyway, all this info is on this site if you do a search. thats where i read it all.
