Head & Cam Package

Ive been doing some research on doing a head and cam package but I havent been able to find alot other than calling different performance shops and getting what ever info I can out of them. I was wondering if anyone has got a head and cam package? What sort of cam? Price range? I also heard you cannot have a 10:1 compression ratio with the VR-VS 5lt unless you do the pistons?

Looking to do heads and maybe a 286 cam Any thoughts?

2. will you fit it or have a workshop install
3. what other engine mods do you have
4. what your hoping to get out of this kw
5. will this be a daily driver
6. will you be looking to strengthen ur auto/ include a higher stall/ driveline?

Will have to be WorkShop Install

CAI, Exhaust, Extractors.
4. what your hoping to get out of this kw
I want to slowly get a build started to maybe one day Stroke to 5.7
5. will this be a daily driver
Yes, It will be a Daily! If it comes too it I will take it off the road and keep it as a Weekend Warrior!

Looking to Rebuild auto, Stage 2 Shift Kit (Corvette Servos), High Stall Converter.

Hope this sort of gives a general Idea, Im looking to just get more power out of the 5L and maybe a little while down the track to get the car stroked and new paint etc etc. Thought best place to start is maybe heads and cam unless ppl have another idea?
