Know nothing about your car but have been told to reply with " Bad Input Shaft Bearing" (whatever that is)
Life Sucks? Well cry me a river, put on a helmet, build a bridge and get the f**k over it.
Could be either a bad/dry pilot bearing (sits in the end of the crankshaft and the nose of the gearbox input shaft spins on it) or the thrust bearing dry. If the sound seems to be coming from the pedal it could just be a dry shaft/bearing at the top of the pedal (will be there with engine off) - spray with WD40.
