stuck in second, should i change the box

just helpin out a mate should i change the box and converter if its stuck in second. gave it a service still doing the same thing staying in second, question is should i just save my time and change the thing out or try to get this one working

shift solenoid or faulty tps? Checked for error codes?

error codes from the computer man. remove the kick panel and see what lights flash when and in what sequnce and it should give you an error that you can crossreference. tps = throttle position sensor

cheers ill give that a go first, didnt know there was so many for the auto
