vn v8 conversion into v6 vs, speedo not working

Hi everyone ive recently done a vn v8 conversion into a v6 vs. they were both manuals. The speedo isnt working now, and was wondering if anyone new how i could get it going ? Cheers

the v6 and v8 clusters are different for the rpm and speedo guage i believe, different offest mechanism behind the needle in the cluster, you'll need a v8 cluster for it to work mate

The only thing you need to change should be the tacho. Ive got a V8 cluster in my V6 and I just had to swap the tacho over to a V6 one.
Ive got a V8 level 3 cluster for sale if you need one.

ive already oordered a new cluster but thanks anyway.. and yes ive already swapped the tachos over and its fine, just the speedo isnt working. And like you said tezza it should still work just the tachos are different. i thought it may have been something to do with where it plugs into the gearbox as both the v6 and v8 box are different.. or the speed sensors are different from vn to vs. that im unsure of, il have another look to make sure its all plugged in right. If anyone knows what it could be it would be much apreciated. Cheers
