Ok,when driving around is getting into the car, mostly over the drivers feet and i cant find the source. I've tried switiching air con to re-circulating,didnt work, ive the aircon down as low as it'll go and aimed it at my feet, since the ac needs regasing,it did next to nothing.I looked at the firewall and cant see where its coming in
Has any else had this problem

it might be your heater tap isnt shutting off and letting hot water run thru the pipes near the drivers feet.
check that the vacuum switch is closing when on full cold, its in the drivers footwell just in front of the centre console trim. have a look while turning the temp dial and u will see it.
if it isnt that then id guess its a vacuum leak between the switch and heater tap, or the guts have fallen out of the heater tap
mine have the same problem but im sure its a vacum problem as ive just replaced the heater tap n ye its still fairly hot inside
from what i've seen the heater pipes are always really hot. maybe i've just always had dodgey heater taps but i would say either they still let a small amount of hot coolant through even when turned off, or the pipes just heat up anyway seeing as how theyre still connected to a hot engine with hot coolant in it.
but those pipes behind the centre console can end up like a big fat heating element (which is their purpose) right next to your legs.
my solution was to completely bypass the heater during the warmer months.
trust me when the heater tap + vacuum lines is working correctly the pipes will be no warmer than cabin temp. i know this cos mine was doing it last summer until i fixed it. just had to get the vacuum switch behind the temp control dial working again
Is that the same with normal ac and climite control (checking heater tap and vaccume lines)

Heater tap should be on a cable, not vacuum operated?
The control dial on the (non-climate) heater uses a threaded rod that (presumably) adjusts the amount of vacuum that goes to the heater tap. If you look at the bottom of the heater on the driver's side near the firewall you will see the rod which is held in place by a white plastic fastener. The half of the white fastener facing you swivels either up (normally) or down to allow you to adjust the control. You can use you finger nail to lever it up or down but be careful you don't break it - doesn't need a lot of force. You can then adjust the control by moving the threaded rod so that the white fastener is in the best position to ensure that the heater is off when the control is moved to fully cold.
How is the heater tap operated on the climate control version? Is it done via the box behind the head unit or does it have a separate one?
My core gets hot sometimes even when the a/c is on, i have a new heater tap in the engine bay and i take it thats the one that controls water flow to the core,
but in the book i see one in the interior near the core.
mine has the same problem and god does it get got sometimes feels like the heater is full blast when its not even on
Summer is a bitch in my car. During winter i dont even notice it due to the cooler temps. Now when recently when the temp has been around the 30degree, driving becomes rather hot,i really want it sorted before the temp gets up to 45+
