what transmittion to put on my vr wagon????

my vr needs a new transmittion pretty soon as its shifting late and has slight clunking into gears... what transmittion would be best for it? i can live with this one for a while until i find a decent one for a good price... just wanting to know what type to look for...

Just sounds like it needs a good service, change trans pan filter and oil and do a full flush. If not either get yours rebuilt or get another one from a wrecker.

Im not touching my transmission till i get one from my father inlaw thats already stuffed, wreck that one then do my own so i dont stuff it lol

did a service on it less than 10k ago, still does it and getting worse... stock or one out of something else?
