vs v8 engine temp

Hey there commodore fans I have a v8 5l could someone out there tell me what temp on your dash gauge shows when at running temp. What's the highest the engine temp should reach on the gauge? I know different termostats have different temps I have a standard trident thermostat.

Mine sits just over 1/5 when hot

mine got above half way once... when i towed another car it never went over half way.

Mine sits just under the 1/4 mark.

1/4 or 1/8 on mine depending on ambient temp and if im up it or not

My clubby sits slightly over the 1/4 mark and thats as high as I've seen it go

Mine generally sits on the second line from the bottom however lately has been moving up to the third line on occassions. It has also started using a bit of coolant as well though recently so need to fund the cause !!

my 5 liter vr stato sits on 1/4 on temp gauge . when i first got it , used to go up to 1/2 on a warm day. but after i put a 180 degree ( fahrenheit ) thermostat in and also tightened the belt for the water pump and alternator its ok now.
