Default VS went 'ting!' and then it died...

WTF!? had an epic day of driving yesterday, and then came home, and later wanted to duck out to grab a diff lens for the camera... go to start the car, and it makes this ting sound... kinda like a light bulb blowing, only a little louder? i was like WTF!? go to start it again, and NOTHING lights up! doesn't do anything.... oh, except for the speed alert light... it flashes as i turn the barrel.... and then, i checked all the fuses (which as far as i can see, are all fine btw) and tried to start it again, and now my h/u makes the sound (its a pioneer lol) when you take the keys out of the ignition... but it doesn't turn on... ohhh, and the flashy red light flashes...
    severely confused. LOL.
    help?

sounds like a pain! not sure off the top of my head, maybe try another battery?
make sure you check all the fuses AND relays under the dash AND in the engine bay.

Probably dirty/loose battery terminals - clean and tighten. Check that headlights are white when turned on....if yellow it indicates battery flat.

X2 Sounds like a loose terminal.
The ting noise was probably the starter engaging and disengaging when the terminal lost contact.
