Power Windows short?

I tried using the search function but couldn't find anything useful
I have a VS berlina with power windows and they've been playing up, either all of them work or none of them work, ive noticed they tend to fail more on really hot days, today i had a look at the fuse/circuit breaker and noticed that it would heat up rather quickly when operating any of the windows and then all the windows would stop working untill the circuit breaker had cooled down and then they would work again, i assume this means i have a short somewhere, i don't really want to pay through the ass to take it to an auto electrician, does anybody know what might be causing the problem or how i can find it, i have a multimeter if that helps,

the circut breaker does get warm when winding, because it plays up on hotter days i would first look at changing that and see if that fixes the problem. all the windows work fine or none of them do points to it.
