Default Boot lid sitting high on one corner

    Sitting high.

This is the other corner, sitting properly.

I can't for the life of me work out why one corner would sit higher than the other. The old boot lid sat fine but for some reason this one doesnt. Does anyone have an ideas?

I cannot give you a proper answer, but what I'd do is get inside the boot with a socket that will loosen the hinge bolts, then get someone (who you trust!) to shut the lid - then loosen the hinge bolts and have the person outside press down on the high corner to hopefully align the lid better and then tighten....then tighten.
    Good Luck.

I did that to one of my cars worked a treat.

Its because the hinge, or where the hinge bolts up to the inside of the lid is bent.

Take the lid off and hammer it straight.

Simple , the boot lid is too far forward prob only a coupla mm , whats happening is where it raises up on the inside of the boot , just back from where it seals , is hitting on the seal causing it to sit up . Open the boot and undo the mounting bolts an pull it back a bit , an hey presto your problem will be solved
