My door wont open

Ok, it has been like this for a while now but i'm sick of not being able to drive anyone.

My passenger door will not unlock leaving me unable to open it.. It's asif it is dead locked; even when you lift the lock up the doors do not budge (the lock goes straight back downafter u release it).

I've managed to remove part of the door liner to get access but I do not have full access to the lock motor or its parts to diagnose..

The motor still makes a sound and all unlike the door behind where the motor does not do crap and I can still unlock / open this door manually.

If theres no real solutions.. could someone push me into the right direction as to where I can take my car to get this fixed.. a mechanic? auto elec? panel beater?

The door lock and actuator rod is probably catching on something. If you have enough of the door trim off, you can put your hand around to where the catcher is and push down on the lever which unlatches it.

Or if you dont have enough you could try with some wire and try and unlock it that way. Otherwise, get a locksmith, they'll be able to get it open somehow.
