Hi guys, I'm just wondering can I put a 5lt motor and trans (cable kickdown) out of a vp into a vs? I have the loom and computer out of the vp if that helps. Cheers.

You would need to check with your state regestration authority, you would need to consider the ADR's relevent ot the VR engine that the VP engine may not meet. For example exhaust emmission requirements. The engines may be the same with a differnet tune to achieve this, the VR ECU may be improved overt the VP to achieve this?Originally Posted by Gunns VC

May well work out cheaper and more effective to by a factory fitted VR V8.

Ok sweet, if I was to just use the car for racing and burnout comps and not drive it on the road would it be an easy job?
