Default BIIIIIG problem 94 VR comm

    yo!

so uh...bit of a flood coming into my drivers side foot bay (about 500ml give or take). It really only happens when it rains, but it's boiling hot and looks like it's coming from the centre console! Heater core maybe? Oh and air only comes out at my feet when my fan is on AND i get steam coming from my front demisters

to add to this...some white gunky crap is building up in the foot bay, could be burnt coolant, but i havn't overheated recently :S

any feedback on what the white shit AND the steam is and how to fix my fan/leak problem would be siiiiiiiiiiiick!

It may also just be a blocked drain in the aircon/heater box that fills during periods of high humidity although I'd also go for a busted heater first off. As it's summer, just re-route the heater hoses so they don't go thru the heater.
