If its breaking down under load (when you accelerate) and struggles to rev then this would normally be an ignition (high voltage side) fault.
    eg. Coils or leads.
If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

    Not great.
How big can you make the gap before it won't jump?

Have you tested a lead from each coil?

First of check for codes. Bridge pins 5&6.

Check for spark with a spark plug tester.
If there is no spark it could be the coils,DFI module,CAS,EFI relay. Also check the connection on the DFI module.
You can check these parts if there in working order.

It also could be the fuel pressure. Check pressure on the fuel rail. Fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator.

This is true. But there is a way to test the cas. You need a oscilloscope. To see the signal its producing.

What reading did you get on the fuel pressure test at idle and full throttle.

Sparks should always be a nice bright blue, so yeah orange = bad. Check your leads for excessive resistance then if ok maybe your coil packs are on the way out.
