hey guys just a quick question, i havnt really done anythign to my 98 vs ute since i got it but yesterday when trying to figure out why my hazard lights didnt work came across the fuse box. i took a fuse from my airbags slot and put it in the hazard lights slot where there wasnt one (yes they are the same fuse), i dont have any airbags in my car by the way. this shouldnt be a problem should it?
The other thing was that there was no fuse in the slot for ABS, should there have been? does my car have ABS?
cheers in advance

Sounds more as though someone has put a different body loom in to get other things. Do you have remote central locking, cruise control or power windows?
its got central locking but neither cruise control or power windows, not sure if its likely to make any difference but the previous owner did swap the motor out with a vx ecotec v6

ABS was not available on VS utilities even as an option.

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?
My Series 3' 99 S-Pac Ute has no ABS.
It was a factory option, it says in the owners manual.
Mate, quick way to check is to stamp on the breaks haha.
We did when we test drove the car, a nice skiddy proved to us it had none.
No ABS isn't all too bad, just have to be careful not to slam in the wet.
In all series iii vs,s it was an option, high end cars like caprice, stato, berlinas had it standered,as for utes series 3 and on it was an option offered to stand,s pac & v8 ute owners, ,its came stand in vs olpmic, ss v8. And in the 185i v8 maloo utes . because the vt sedan came out in 1997 and the vs utes ended in 2000 i think it was also standered in the last run of vs utes in late 99 to early 2000 as the vs ute model was ending and thay used the last OF THE VS ABS SYTEMS SITTING ON there SHELVES at gmh to tart up to old vs utes for sale as the new vx holden sed and the vy ute with abs was coming in ( holden didnt want heaps of vs utes or vs abs systems left over so thay normally tart em up at the end of a run with things that were once an option to empty thair shelves of space and the dealers yard of old vs model cars..... Hope this helps a little
