front drivers door window rattle

i have a vs caprice, and since i got it, when i put the front drivers door window down, be it a little bit or all the way it rattles and from the sound it makes it sounds quite hard, and when i put it all the way down im worried im gonna shut the door and the window will shatter

ive pulled the door trim off to have a look at what it could be rattling against but have had no luck finding whats causing it, also when it goes down, it makes a slight rubbing/scratching noise like its rubbing against something

any ideas what could be causing it? or should i try to find a new door (coz the paint has a small rust patch, doesnt look good)

The rubber guides for the window may have come off?

everything along the top is fine, it sounds like its more coming from the inside of the door somewhere, but dont know where exactly, there was a guide rail or something that touched the window but i put padding on it and tryed it but it still rattled from somewhere

so im kinda at a loss

There should be rubber guides on the inside of the door for the window on each side this is to stop the rattle and scraping of the glass.
The rubber guides may of slipped down and may be broken off, if there is any rubber sitting on the bottom of the door the chances are it is from the guide rails.
