    Default Brake options

Hi guys, just picked up a vs wagon v8 and was wondering what the best brake options would be. It currently has slotted rotors all round Which look like standard size with I think standard calipers. I have some front standard vt rotors and calipers with brake booster and master cylinder. Would it be worth chucking the vt stuff on the front and master cylinder and booster or just keeping it how it is with the slotted rotors on the front?

    Cheers

You could throw the VT stuff on - but you will have to change master etc - you can drill your own rotors if you have a drill press & some time - just need something to counter sink the holes - std VS way to small - air flow is always help full & if you can run some tubing from the front of the car it will make a lot of difference if you give your brakes a hard time. QFM brake pads have been very good for me fitted them to a lot of cars - no brake dust / squealing etc & I am up to 120,000 k with still a lot left of the pads. There is a sticky at the start of this page listing brake upgrades which is quite good.
