I had a similar setup on my VS extractors and catback, except the extractors were generic rather than pacies...

honestly... extractors were great... made her more eagerto rev, especially in the 2-4000 range... then i got the catback, which with only a CAI i reckon was a bit too much... car went a tad quicker but that's only when dragging.... she lost some response...

I got her chipped, got 4inch piping for the CAI, and the mace plenum spacer, and then she went much better, and the exhaust was deeper too

    she went heaps hard...

and this is with standard y piece and cat

these pacemakers are $150 for the headers, i would have had the complete setup if my misses didnt stuff up my ebay bidding this morning while i was at work... things went for $175 so not happy... so not sure weather to wait another couple of months for a set with y pipe to pop up or just go these ones and look for a y pipe and high flow cat later... going to chip it next year and put a shift kit on the transmittion... how did you find the chip performance wise?

The Y pipe is only to make the extractors fit up to the front of the cat because the original engine pipes don't even come close to mating up to the extractors. There is nothing "performance" about it. You won't get it together without a Y pipe, be it fabricated or a bolt on.

I bought the chip off mace for $150

when I chipped my car, she had a mace CAI, 4inch intake piping, mace plenum spacer, extractors and 2.5inch catback... and it made a bit of a difference.. she was more eager to rev, held gears longer. and would spin the wheels on take off really hard, and would sometimes spin them in second too lol.. it was great....

unfortunately my beloved VS passed away when I drove her into a train station being very heavily influenced by alcohol... don't drink and drive kids... lost my baby, broke six ribs, and my sternum, could've been much worse...

anyway, i kept the chip from my wrecked baby, and I ended up buying another VS... and this one is 100% stock..

chip makes a bit of a difference.. more eager to rev, a bit more go.. and for the coolest part, she pulls harder on E10 than she does on 91 lol..

    she loves 95.

I would definately recommend the chip... makes her livelier and more economical (if you're an angel behind the wheel)
