Exhaust question

Alright, so right now i have no rear muffler but instead a resonator and a tip on my car. I was wondering if it was possible to get the rest of the exhaust done so it would be a catback system without replacing what i already have. So basically the piping from the resonator to the cat would be replaced. Possible?

Anything is possible...cost is the determining factor. Would probably be cheaper just to buy one without a muffler with a resi...But why would you? You have a fairly stock motor? Stay stock 2.25" pipe, better performance, better economy, better sound.

speaking of that setup, it would sound like arse...wouldn't it? Care to show a video?

It's not that bad actually, upto 3000rpm it has an alright tone and a nice rumble at idle, slight drone but i don't mind it. I'll try get vid up when i get home tonight.

And yeh, car is pretty much stock besides what i mentioned before.

2.5" isn't the best option for a stock 6. Stay with the 2.25" stock one...if you must change the pipe, get the same size. Performance is better, response is better, torque is better, sound is better. Check my VS thread, look at the exhaust video.
