Hi everyone,
Does anyone know what the standard wheel offset is on a VS ute, sedan or wagon?
I found this link VP wheel offset although it lists VS wagons at 37p or 43p offset.
VS utes can be/are/were both offsets from factory. Standard utes seemed to be 43P, while 'S' and 'SS' versions seemed to be 37P.
I had a look at some VX wheels and they had a 48p offset. Will these fit the ute ok?
That's 5 - 11mm off compared to the factory ones
I've got 18" R8 rims and they are 48p, i want to get my VR ute lower at the back but will have to get some 43p rims as the 48s will rub.
Depends on the width of the rim. 7" standard.
If you go 8", you've lost 13mm (close enough), minus 11mm for the VX wheels. That equals 24mm further into the rear tray, and guess what, they'll rub like a dog with mange. That's a common problem with VS utes and late model wheels. It only affects the rear end, the front will be right.
