vr commdore stalling on petrol

hi my vr keeps stalling when i put it into gear and at traffic light unless holding rev to 1000 rpm i have charged spark plugs and lead it has new fuel pump and fuel filter and check pressure and is good also put new dfi and coils on it new oxygen sensor charge the computer with one i new was working fine if anyone has any ideas or know what it is thanks kevin

sounds like TPS (Throttle Position Sensor), but check for error codes first.

hey thanks ive check for error codes but hasnt come up with anythink have used the computer to do the test on tps and map sensor but thanks for that

IAC could be the other one to check (Idle Air Control Valve)

ahh didnt think off that i shell investercate that tomorrow at work

+ 1 for the IAC, Give the throttle body a good clean also while your there.
Also Check the Fuel pressure regulator Vac Hose and smell for fuel, Just remove the hose from the air intake and smell away. If it smells like fuel replace it. Also check to see if the hose is cracked.
