hey all just would like to check i have a vs commodore live axel been lowered with king springs and shorterned shocks , superlows in the front and ultra lows in the rear would like to dump the rear one more inch just wondering has anyone olready done this if so how would i go about it other than cutting the spring cheers thanks in advance car is sitting on 19's 245/35 and guards have been rolled
get the springs compressed
you could take your car to get the springs reset i dont know who does it in sydney but here in vic the suspension centre pull your old springs out and i think they heat them up and reset them to the height you want correct me if im wrong about how they do it, but you can get your springs lowered more.
i olready have the ultra's mate , resetting okay is that safe or bit dodgy ?
it would be safe providing the springs dont fall out when you jack the car up in other words the shocks must hold them in and there not so low that they fall out going over a bump.
Just remove your springs and ride bumb stops it's the craz these days
CHEV badges Australia says no
fighting online is like racing on a special olympic. Even if you were to Win! your still ####ing retarded
Its dodgy. check which size you have cos there are 2 sizes that are often called "ultra lows" SSL and SSSL
nathans VY Calais - 'Calais 2.0' | VT Equipe | VS Calais **SOLD!**
My guess is that you dont have ultras in the rear cause if you did you wouldnt want to go any lower.
mine are SSSL bought them out at blacktown from the wholesaler lowest spring kings sell
It would look dicky, Invisible caravan comes to mind...
There is no such thing as stupid questions, Only stupid people.
Baffled as to why you want to go lower, get bigger wheels instead. Or airbags, then you can put it on the floor.

SSSL's just dont drop VR/S's that much.... if u wana go lower just get them reset doesnt cost much, better of than chopping them...
where in sydney can it be done ?
the ultras dont really drop the car much lower anyway its the front in the VS's that are a concern when you drop them with the superlows if you have extractors the Y piece is forever getting hit , the rear clearance isnt that bad i dont drive with people in the back so i can afford to lower it a little bit more anyway
Mate resetting springs is not the way to go as the steel will loose the properties its ment to have and will be like your got chopped springs anyway. So just look around and find lower ones. I had pedders ones in my vs dont know what they were though and it was almost on the ground
