VR V6 won't start then it will....then it won't?

I dunno whether it's the starter or the battery or something else, but It won't even crank over, makes a weird noise. Then it starts! Anyone know about this problem?

Sounds like a problem with the starter motor to me. I suggest going to get it checked out before it becomes so bad your stuck.

+1 on the starter motor if it wont start just hit it with a hammer usually frees it up but id be replacing it before it gets to that.

I'd be bashing it with the hammer if only I could see the bloody thing! Where is it? You must need to hoist the car up to get to it!

At the bottom of the engine, look in the engine bay from the passenger side, it's behind the exhaust manifold. You'll need to get under the car if you expect to swing a hammer at it.
