Default imobiliser problem - v8 vr..how to disable?

Im having problem with my vr v8.. starter wont crank..imobiliser light blink continuously when igition is on.. starter ok when the relay is bridge 30 to 87.. so tried the ignition on for 1 hour. Magic! starts one kick.. I recon the key head is stuffed.. something missing from the head.. to get new key head is not easy here in Brunei. As i have read in this forum need to change the BCM and so on.. Therefore i need to disable the imobiliser.. Whats the simplest way if any, to do it.. I have read somewhere in the forum saying about pink wires on the left of the passenger seat.. Could someone from down under please help me.. Im so anxious to put my v8 o the road again.. Cheers mate..

    ham from Brunei

not only that if you got almost 2 ton of car over to the desert id say you wouldnt have a prob gettin a 3 ounce key head up to the desert as well....if you was legit the dealer you got the car off would have records of your purches and im sure for a small fee thay would loook up your details and you vin and if you do own the car its a peice of piss to arrange what ive just mentioned if as you say its only a key thats stuffing up inside and heres a hint if you can get a dealer to sendyou a keyhead? get 3 thay will out live the car................mmm.........mmm.......sounds as shifty as a rat up a drain pipe.....if im wrong god bless you......if any 1 in australia thinks im wrong? in saying what im saying please say so....

ha ha ha.... thanks mate..apparently no car thiefs are in this forum to share how to.. to me, the tip to switch the ignition for 1 hour and start the car is already a basic way to steal a holden car... i just thought that if i can disable the imobiliser, i will then install a new alarm system, which just cost around 100 bucks which can be found almost everywhere here... you may wish to know that the one and only holden agent in brunei seem to be dying off.. its the hassle of getting the right stuff and professionally install them and make it work again is that really matters... definitely if I was still living in Geelong, I would do as you have suggested..
many thanks again and Wish You Merry Christmas.

Hey ham,,,,,you got any mates in australia? If so send them your key head and get them to take it to mr minute at any shopping center who then can make as manny coppies as you like then have them send them back to you...........or if you have the head codes tehm self you can send them to a mate who can take the codes to mr minute for you ( i know because last time i had my vt keyhead done the guy gave me my key code and said if i need aother keyhead just bring the code in) thats about the best i can offer your,ps even though your in the desert <holden should still have you vin on record and thay may be able to give you the keyhead code that you can then get some 1 in australia to get a copy of for you.merry xmas to you from australia and j/c have a good new year

Apart from having the car on ignition for 1 hour, there is no other way to start VR's when the key is defective.

Could it just be a battery that needs to be replaced?

$1 for a battery beats $100 or whatever for a new Key, Holden clearly is trying to make revenue with these retarded key designs.
