Default Side of car slammed kerb... Wheels screech whenever driving now..

Hey folks.. So my car got in a prang and ended up being slammed against a kerb. Two wheels demolished. One bent rod at the front which was fixed and the car runs a bit better, but tyres still screech.

I've had a look under the car and there seems to be a gap where exhaust is escaping around the cat.

Will a wheel alignment fix my problem of tyres screeching or should I just scrap the car all together?

Unless the car is extra special I'd bin it. Reason is that a hit that was hard enough to demolish 2 wheels will be enough to write off all suspension components on that side front and rear....also probably the subframe will be distorted on that side.
As Commodores are very cheap to replace you could save a lot of hassles. Good Luck in the future.

Explain everything you said above to a Panel Beater or Mechanic and take it from there.

If it is adequately insured, as above, take it to a panel beater.
