The question is, how much would you expect to see this for sale? Most VS utes in good condition cost between $7,000 - $9,000. What do you think?

Actually looks nice with the rims unlike alot of VS utes you see around, as it is hard to find nice looking rims for a VS commodore..

Might I add, people still try to sell their VS Utes for that kind of money after they have done 230,000 kms..

Mate, it"s like houses - location, location, location. Sell it in Sydney/Melbourne and you might get 6 or 7......sell it in Dubbo or Roma and you'll get 10. Also remember there are 2 prices - 1st is what they are asking, and 2nd what they eventually accept.
However, your location may help.

I have a 99 VSIII Ute 3.8 auto, stock as, well maintained with 230,000 kays on it.

For what it's worth, I reckon my ute would be worth somewhere around $6,000 roughly.

I want to sell it for a 4x4.. Sick of going slow over speed bumps, slowing down over train tracks, not being able to take my car offroad.. Cant drive on the beach.. Haha, only thing ill miss is the speed

my VS ute, 2000 model , v6 (160,000kms) 5speed. lsd, standard all but the radio. with recon gearbox 2 months before i brought it (with 12months warrenty + receipts)

i paid $5000 and no surprises yet, everything is going good. 2 months down the track.

Hmm, Perths good ones seem to be going for around 7.5 - 9k.. It'd be nice to atleast get what I bought it for..

4k to 5k for a stock vs ute (no mods under200,000km) add 1.5k to 2k for a v8 and 2.5k tO 3.5k for a hsv.VY utes are as low as 9k now so the lower the vy,s become,the lower the vs v6 will go.........

with your above mods and condition i would list it for 7,500 - 8,000 and try get your best offer mate.
there's no harm putting the price a bit higher, just take what you can get.

if it was a v8 yes 7.5 to 8.5k .hsv 9.5k to 11k. v6 5k to 6k with low ks and good mods up to 7k

yer mate i got a vs ute, 5 speed man,3 seater. 200 000km, lsd, extractors, exurst, lowered, 6mounths reg $4500, very tidy.. but yet iv seen and had mates that have paid up to 10g for the same thing so its all veries

you havent said if your ute is a manual or an auto. that would help alot.
so would pictures, it would definately help us judge.

it all depends on who you sell it to, and its condition (paint peeling?) and so on.
if its a 5spd manual it would probably be a little more due to people like P platers wanting it more (well it would if you were in vic =P).
