VS central locking problem

gday all,

I am having problems with my vs ute.

when i press the button on the key to lock/unlock the doors, the doors lock or unlock, but with a loud clunking sound. as if they lock is stil trying to move.

any ideas guys??

do the actuators lock and unlock manually ok? it's going to be inside the door

jsut went out and tried manually locking the doors..

locking them was fine.. unlocking them the "clunking, vibrating" noise was made..

i have no doupt that that issue is in the doors. i just have not had much experience with power windows and was just seeing if anyone had an idea or if there is a comon problem with VSs

yeh you'l have to pull the door covers off and have a look, either somethings stuck or the actuators need attending, the only tricky bit people miss when pulling the covers off is missing the extra screw in the lock, the little orange bit when the lock is up flaps out and there's a screw in there.
