    Default VS vaccum solenoid?

    hi all,
i've been having this problenm for a while now that my head vents on my vs calais arent working.... they seem to have a mind of their own and switch on and off, sometimes (i've noticed?) coenciding with bumps in the road.
after searching forums for a bit i've been told that i need a new "vaccum solenoid"
does this sound correct? and if so where would be the best place to get one from in sa?

    cheers in advance,
    james.

yeh it's sits behind the stereo and will have all vacumme hoses coming out, starts to leak when it's old and starts changing vents by itself, usually vents to feet and feet to vents.

heres some pics for you mate, from my thread. this was causing the same problem - although i doubt your vacuum tank will be as screwed as mine LOL

notice how some bits of the foam are darker than others? this indicates a leak as its pulling air (and thus more dirt/dust) through than the others
