VS petrol tank in VH for LS1

Hi all,

We are putting an LS1 into a VH, and are using a VS sedan tank.

What fuel pump setup would be best to use?
Can i use a VS sender unit, but with a bigger/more powerful pump instead of the V6 one?
Should we use an external pump?

ls1 uses 28lb injectors i think vs v6 20lb the intank pump from memory is the same for both v6 and v8

How did you go with the tank? I'm starting the same conversion and wondering the same thing.

decent bosch pump smaller than the 044 should fit, maybe a walbro as well from what ive read (walbro is apparently quieter than a big bosch pump too)

as for an external pump, and ya might as well put in a surge tank as well if you're going that far... for a mild street cruiser, not needed. however if u intend building it into a wild boosted/big power/strip/track toy then yes it would be a wise idea
