    Thumbs down hot feet in vr

    Is it just me or does anyone elses vr wagon seem to fry your feet because the foot well area is so hot.
    has extractors fitted thought this may be something to do with it
    or does it need more or some firewall insulation

    If there is hot air blowing down over your feet I'd agree with Krisp, but if the heat is coming up from the floor then I'd say your extractors/down pipe is a bit close to the body and/or needs a shield.

    yep i agree with hako..i had extracts (pacies)in my old vs ute and wow the heat that came up from the floor was bad? also i had heat comming in from the handbreak as well? no wnder it was hard to cool her down in summer

    If anything pacemakers should be cooler seeing as how they come ceramic coated, unless you had the wrong ones installed and/or had no heat shielding. I have pacies and can see no difference.

    i think i didnt have heat shielding

    was might warm,,,more so the heat that came out from under the drivers door was hot also......that old utes gone and the maloo dosnt have any of the same issues

    my vr had alot of heat coming from under the drivers door with genie extractors .

    same with the pacies> was shocker in summer.....and it came in from were the hand brake was as well

    my vs has extractors and i can always feel heat on my left leg coming from down near the foot rest

    I have no idea what anyone is on about. I can feel no difference in the footwell. It has nothing to do with the door being open or standing next to the car on the drivers side.

    well it does to a few>>> as stated above i dont get the same issues in the maloo at all not at the door or the footwell(but the same cant be said for my old 1997 vs ute now that was a pizza oven)
