    Default VS SS antenna installation

The original radio antenna on the 1995 model is playing up, the replacement says - "Remove hexagon nut" I cant see or feel a nut anywhere! The black plastic surround on the body panel i cant dislodge, and I dont want to break it. I know it isnt major but everything counts. Look forward to your help, Tref.

Welcome to the forum....I think what they are talking about is the hex nut that hold the aerial to the guard - remove the black plastic cover from under the mudguard (the one that keeps mud from caking up), locate the aerial wire where it leaves the body and goes to the mudguard and you will find a big nut that hold the aerial against the mudguard. Loosen that and all will be revealed.
