    Default automatic car stalling?

ok so i got my vs ute about 4 months ago and its never missed a beat until yesterday and today. may need a transmission service by the sounds of it from what friends have told me but still want more opinions on why it stalls half the time going from reverse to drive?? every time i change fromm revrese to drive or park or between gears in general it always almost stalls unless i give it some throttle and feels really sluggish??

may e time to switch her to a manual fially!!!

sounds like the converter is locking up at the wrong time.

It should only lock up in 4th gear. There is a sensor inside the Gearbox that tells the converter that it's in 4th, that could be the culprit.

iac/clean throttle body or tps most likely, have you checked for error codes? Does it do it hot or cold? or both? Checking error codes VR/VS (Revised)

    Yes 4th is "D".

4th is the overdriven gear in the 4l60/e. The converter locks up in 4th to limit slipage and therefore giving better mileage.
