Identification Label Body and option plate for vs

Hi

The motor in my vs was recently pulled out for rebuilding, when the mechanic was taking the motor out he scraped the motor against my body and option plate, the writing is still visible on the plate but its a big scratch. I would like to replace it as the rest of the car is immaculate and it ruins it a little. Can i buy this plate anywhere? or have it reproduced? Any suggestions ?

Be a tough job getting one as a replacement. I dont think anyone would own up to being able to do it

Yes , i should really get the mechanic to chase it up, Did a good job on the rebuild though. If this is the case perhaps PM me if you have any advice etc

Highly illegal to duplicate an option plate.

It is literally the car's ID

it can be done, but yeah if you do end up finding someone who can do it no doubt they will charge you alot!

i dont think youll find anyone who can do it prop or wants to even try

I would hand in my or destroy the original scratched label, so there would still be only one in existence. I dont think it can be done unfortunately.
