    Default Disconnecting Battery

I'm not going to drive my car for one week so I was wondering is it a good idea to disconnect the battery? It is a brand new battery as well. Would the battery lose any of its charge if I decided to not disconnect it? I've had previous battery issues with an older battery which is the reason I'm considering this.
    Any advice is appreciated
    Cheers.

I reckon the battery should be fine and will last a month connected...

It will be right for just a week.If it was for a month or more Id say to remove the battery terminals and connect a battery changer to keep it charged.

You dont need to disconnect the battery it should be fine. If it does go flat there is a drain in your car.
