VS Commodore central locking problem

hey, i recently bought a vs commodore and the central locking doesnt entirely work. when locking and unlocking only the back doors respond where as the front two doors dont. when trying to manually locking the front two doors only the passenger side door locks where as the drivers side doesnt budge. should i leave this to an auto electrican? im new so any help would be great.
