    Default gear knob

    hey everyone
    i want to change my gear knob on me manual vs and i was just wondering if u can just change the knob or u need to change the shaft as well. if u can change the knob can someone please let me know how.

    get the corner of a damp towle lay it over your nob lol get a good grip and twist( left loose/right tight)

    You sure its a Getrag??? Getrag M34 and M35 DO NOT screw off. This is a quick way to stuff them! Grab hold of it an pull straight up.

    Ill be honest never tried. Lol but it screws around just assumed it screwed off

    Sounds like someone has tried to remove it by unscrewing it then as this is what happens... Its probably broken the plastic locating tab inside the knob and will now spin around easily, but never tighten.

    Yeah well its been loose since i bought it but i screw it and it stays tight for a while.
