ok just look at mine and now im abit confused is that on the return line
and now im guessing that the little one on the rail isnt a regulator
look at this pic >>?? http://forums.justcommodores.com.au/...help-pic-1.jpg

this is the little one im talking about http://us1.webpublications.com.au/st...110767_5lo.jpg
but wats the one in the first pic
i have found the one in the first pic i just want to know if its wat i should replace or the other one because i cant swap over the one on the rail because i cant take the hole thing off the vx rail

not sure if its right for the vx injectors
[QUOTE=jharv58;1763475]not sure if its right for the vx injectors .................. flow rate is smaller (not my much 1cc from memory), but better atomisation. if you drop in the VX injectors drop in the VX fuel pressure regulator too, that will ensure the correct fuel pressure is maintained.
this answers your quetion......change it....oh and good luck....cheeers

ok correct me if im wrong bt the one in the first picture u put up is that the actual regulator
cheers i will do that u wouldnt know the part number of the top of ur head would u if not il just look it up
nar iv got no problem doing it i was just given a bum steer on the hole thing and was thinking of the wrong thing haha dont u love that and cheers
yeah me to haha thanx for the advice
to my knowledge you only have to change the regulator if you put the super6 injectors in (white) otherwise the pressure is much the same. should be at approximately 3bar.
the super6 has more fuel pressure i think its about 3.5bar.
edit: the one behind the TB is a damper. it just helps to smooth out the supply pressure for moments when u slam the throttle shut to stop the lines shuddering.
The eco Tec and Buick regulators are different and the lines are pressed onto the vx one correct me if I'm wrong, but they aren't interchangeable,
so theres no point in changing it. or if theres a point how would i change it and what to because i cant get the one off a vx fuel rail
no difference between Super6 and standard Ecotec either.
It's the vacc ur motor creates that cause it open allow more fuel back into the tank, not to the injectors, and u would still only be gettin the stock fuel pulse with out a tune, all ur doing is allowing it to run abit richer, also just sompeople are aware the best injectors ive found on a stock v6 and edible 4cyl tr magna injectors the cream ones, as for fitting the regulator all the hoses are bigger and the fitting
If it isn't broken leave it, a new one won't allow more pressure as there not on the in line there on the return, and the injector will only pulse so much, bein a vr the map sensor ran, so u would need a bigger map sensor to accomindate more air/ fuel ratio, which won't be effective unless ur running high comp, leave the fuel reg and do the plugs perhaps? Don't bother buying expensive ones as it's the same with spark ur stock coils will only spark so hard and it won't be enough to need 30 plugs, did u change ur filter? If not do so as urbinjectors may not be workin to full capacity with a clogged filter anyway
