Default VS ute series 2 towing capacity?

Does anyone know the towing capacity of a VS series 2 ute (V6 manual)..

Basically been asked to tow a horse float with 2 horses on a 5 hour trip to try and get away from the cyclone.

    cheers

hi mate, it depends on the towing kit that it has but usually its only about 1300kg. it says in the owners manual

but in your situation, just do it.

If you have the HD reinforced tow pack you will be fine for a one off! its a problem when you regularly tow over the limit, it stretches and flexes the rear of the chassis.
Hit me up with some reputation points if i've helped you out! (Star in the bottom left!) Cheers!
