Vs Computer .. Logging Faults

Does the VS computer bring up the "check engine" light as soon as it gets any codes? Or only for major ones?

I havnt had the time lately to check for codes, just to check up on the new car, but im not sure if its even worth checking ..

The check engine light will only be displayed for a very major problem, all the rest will just be stored. To check the computer for fault codes only takes ten mins and a paperclip

Cool .. just wondered if it light up for anything . I've come from a VL which doesnt warn you about anything, so wasnt sure how major it had to be to warn ya
